Wendy's Memories and Wendy's Kindness in La Victoire!

Hmph. I read a book the other day. It was kind of a weird one. Had pirates with hooks for hands, a kid that apparently liked wearing tights, and a girl who trusted strangers enough to follow a weird boy to a place called Neverland. I mean, nothing against any of those characters, they seemed nice enough. And, uh... I guess technically it was a story intended for children. But I actually kind of liked it? I mean, I can technically fly and I guess I've met some space pirates in my day. So, y'know. Seemed like a pretty plausible story in retrospect. Anyway, it got me a little inspired, and so I set to work makin' a few new recolors I think you might like.

Wendy's Care and Wendy's Memories are now available, if you wanna try them on and see how they look on you. Can't really do it myself -- I don't wear dresses. Or tights, just for the record. Oh dear, Gaians. Just when we thought our galactic road trip was really going to get underway! It seems that Rigel decided to drive a little more recklessly than our ship would have liked -- as a result, we've accidentally redlined the engine! I'm furious, of course, and I've sent Rigel off to find someone to get it fixed. In the meantime I suppose I'll just lounge around my home away from home, enjoying everything Gaia has to offer. Oh, and indulging in my favorite past time, of course: making Gaians more fabulous! How, you might be wondering? Well, Rigel did leave me with a few Divinity's Reaches before heading off to find a mechanic. And look what beautiful things they have in store!

Wow, guys. I just had a very... interesting encounter. So after Rina found out that I had raided her garden -- again, ahem -- she stomped right on over here to give me a piece of her mind. But when I told her that the flowers were being used for things romantical in nature, she changed her tune fast! Started talking about "shipping" and stuff like that? I'm not sure I followed. I mean, what did she want me to ship, and where was I gonna ship it? Is she into yachts? Anyway, she squealed excitedly for a bit and then disappeared, only to return with TONS more flowers. Ohmigosh. Have you guys noticed that we've got TONS of adorable critters running around these days? I can't handle it! They're all so cute! I'm locked in this perpetual feedback loop of squealing over them! I can't stop it! SQUEEEE lookit that one. He's got such little ears! And she's got such a fluffy tail! Oh my goodness. But you wanna know the best part? Rufus came up with the idea of making Monthly Collectibles available to our little furry friends, and I was like... THAT'S THE BEST IDEA EVER! He's so smart for a cat, even if he won't let me put pants on him! So from now on, Monthly Collectibles are going to have three items: two for humans, and one for critters! I'M SO EXCITED! Why can't my letter open noooooowwwwww?

The seal is weakening on March's First Advance Chance!

Well, it seems like my recipes are not going over as well as I had hoped. I tried making a tuna melt but not even Mr. Bibbles would touch it. And he loves tuna! But apparently not when it's covered in Limburger cheese and doused with enough hot sauce to potentially cause a fire hazard. I, however, thought it was absolutely delicious -- and pungent! But to cook is to share with others, and it appears that no one wants to eat any of my food. Sigh. Well, at least I can take solace in the fact that all the (potentially noxious) fumes emanating from my kitchen seem to have weakened the seal on this month's Advance Chance!

Ahoy, Gaians! You would not believe the treasure I just managed to score. So there I was, waiting for a nice looking ship to come along, when suddenly I ran into two familiar faces! I won't say who, specifically, but I'll give you a hint: they're twins, and I'm not exactly their biggest fan. Turns out they were on some sort of galactic road trip? I don't really care. The most important thing is their ship was LOADED with precious cargo, and so I took it upon myself to liberate said cargo from their possession. You know. For the good of Gaia and all that. Can't exactly say they were pleased about it, but doesn't matter now! You snooze, you lose.

And if you're snoozin' then you're definitely going to be missing out, because I've loaded up my Plunder with 100 new items up for bid. Rare items, too! We're talking 2003 and 2004 Monthly Collectibles and envelopes, 2003 and 2004 event items -- the works, buddy! Panda Hats, miniwings, slippers. Who knew the twins-who-will-not-be-named were such hoarders, huh? Anyway, they'll be up for bids for the next seven days, so why not check it out and see if anything strikes your fancy?

Nostalgia's a funny thing, isn't it? Seeing the world through sepia-tinted glasses, I suppose? Of course, the past is a great place! I mean, we're doomed to repeat history if we don't know or understand it, right? Everyone says you gotta keep looking towards the future, but sometimes a little trip down memory lane isn't a bad thing, I think. Especially if it's been spruced up! Just like these great '04 and '03 recolors and originals -- it's Gaian history and Gaia's present all rolled up into one fabulous package!

New achievements means new titles, more points -- lots of fun stuff! But did you know that there's another achievement as well? Any user who purchases an animal item with Gaia Cash gets the coveted "Cool Cat" achievement, with fun titles named after our first items for animals! Ah, the salty tang of the open sea! The piercing shriek of seagulls milling about, looking to steal a french fry or two! The roaring crash of the waves! The sharp shells lying in wait in the sand, just waiting for an innocent foot to stab into! I could wax poetical on it for days, friends. But I won't, because I've actually just run out of stuff to, uh... wax on. So maybe not for days. Minutes. Well, minute. Anyway! I've never really been in the ocean -- what with being a cat and all, and also the fact that I'm much more massive than I look and I sink kind of like a stone tied to a mountain -- but you know, I like to picture it. What's it like, piloting a schooner over the open waters? I guess I'll never know. But I know if I did ever captain a ship, I'd look fabulous doing it. Why? Just see for yourself!

Oh, Gaians. The last few days have just been awful! We repaired our ship and were ready to finally start our galactic road trip properly, but that horrible pirate Flynn ensnared us not fifteen minutes after blasting off! She took all our sparkly possessions, made fun of our beautiful hair, told us we ought to walk the plank -- all sorts of mean stuff! She's a real bully. And just because we banished her to the cold reaches of space! You think she'd let go of a grudge by now but I guess not. Either way, she eventually let us go and, well, we've turned back towards Gaia once more to stock up on some new supplies. But she didn't get everything! Haha! We hid our precious Divinity's Reaches safely out of sight. So why not offer them up to Gaians while we get some of our pre-trip shopping done? Selling things helps calm us down, after all, and look at the beautiful prizes you could win!

Oh dear. It looks like my escapades in cookery have led to a... very minor disaster. You see, I was searing some hot dogs for my masterful (and quite delicious!) chien-chaud confit when the smoke alarm went off! For no reason! Or, well, if I'm being perfectly honest... Because there was a fire. Just a little one! Nothing serious! I mean, I managed to put it out. But now my kitchen is a bit more charred than I like it, and I can't do any cooking for a while. Sigh.
