Good morning, everyone! We have a fabulous update to go over today, and it's short and sweet! Let's get started:

We begin with the divine beauty of Angelica, a simply heavenly presence here in the shop! This young lady has outfitted herself in hues of angelic blue, like a pure white cloud drifting past a perfectly blue sky! Who knew angels flew so low? And were so trendy at that? Apparently, Angelica is one of the hippest celestial beings out there. Visit La Victoire if you're interested in seeing her ethereal ensemble! Up next is the fiercely passionate Rose Chronicle, a continuation of the epic saga of Ciel and Rosamund! Rosa seems to match her flowery namesake more than ever in her new crimson shades, and the item itself is so lovely that I think Cygnus might've sniffled over it! Was it allergies, or was the big lug moved to tears by its incredible beauty? You decide! But you know I've made my choice. That guy has such a soft heart! But I gotta agree with him on this one; Rose Chronicle really is enough to make you tear up! It has everything: fantastic poses, a heartwarming story, and my seal of approval! Man, I sure am glad it's fall! Summer is okay and all, but personally I can't stomach the heat for long. I'm used to how cold space is! But even though autumn has only just begun, I know a gal who is already eager for the seasons to change once more. But I suppose it's okay! This inbetween season is giving her time to finish up her amazing new outfit:

At long last October is here! Is there any other month as productive for us mad scientists? Grim undead creations coming to life, mutated monstrosities lurking in the basement, the gathering and collection of ghostly specimens... Not that I do any of those things! I'm not mad. I'm just saying, hypothetically, if I were an unstoppable force of scientific evil I'd be feeling awfully inspired right now. Again: hypothetically. Ahem. Let's take a look at L'histoire de Mephiste!

    User ImageL'histoire de Mephiste: The first occasion Briar was permitted contact with outsiders was the princess’ sixteenth birthday. Ambassadors from distant ylven kingdoms were invited to a lavish ball in the land of twilight, including the heir to the throne of Aurelian, the sun-soaked coast of the amber ylves. In an unusual gesture of diplomacy, the Aureli heir had sent a gift ahead of the birthday masque.

    “The finest leather slippers, gilt with Aureli gold, and papillon silk stockings,” said Briar’s attendant, presenting the gift in its ornate box. Gold. A rare material in the twilight kingdom, nowhere to be found within its moonlit borders. It was a precious gift indeed. “With warmest regards, signed their grace Saffron, crown of Aurelian.”

    Briar’s heart quickened as she slipped the shoes on to her small feet. A perfect fit… But why send this gift so early? She would wear them to the masque and meet Saffron face to face, protocol be damned...

Hello, Gai -- wait, hang on a sec. Hang on a sec. Cygnus just texted me this HILARIOUS video of a kitten stuck in a can! Ohohoho, how positively delightful! We kittens do enjoy jumping into small objects! Okay, sorry, I'm putting my phone down. Where was I? Oh, yeah. Hello, G -- oh wait. Sorry! I got a Slapchat message! Oh man. This photo of Cygnus enjoying his day off and looking super smug about it makes me want to beat him upside the head. What do you know? This app works exactly as advertised! All right, all right, I promise I'm done. It's just that our latest visitor introduced me to the wonders of having a smart phone and I'm... well, I can't stop! I can't stop. Oh no. What will become of me? Will I end up like him?!

Huh, well... I guess turning into Sumafo Complex isn't the worst thing. I mean sure, he can't seem to put his mobile down for more than a second, but he's also super stylish and wearing totally awesome clothes... So I guess it could be worse? Good morning, Gaia! And a happy Sunday to you all! Cygnus is still on vacation, leaving me to do most of the work around the shop. I'm exhausted! I tell ya, I'm not gonna take that big lug for granted any more when he gets back. I'll be sure to work him extra hard, just so he knows how much I appreciate him! Anyway, it's always my duty (and my pleasure) to do the Digest for the day, so here we go!

Ah! The delightfully bracing scent of freshly picked roses! Could there be anything sweeter in the world? Fresh Like Rose must certainly love them, given that she's covered her entire outfit with white and periwinkle blossoms. My goodness! It's such a stunning combination. Like a beautiful bouquet arranged artfully on a gorgeous dress! Well, I mean, that's exactly what it is, but still... I waxed pretty poetical there, didn't I? Man, I'm amazing. Hmm, since Cygnus is gone I suppose he can't stop me from showing off his latest addition to his puppet collection. He's only recently gotten Heliotrope Marionette Restrung in, but he ordered like a bajillion copies! And they make me crave grape soda waaaayyy too much, so frankly they've got to go. If you're a lover of all things purple and lacy, then this set would be absolutely perfect for you. YES! I mean -- NO! I mean... Hrrrgggh, Gaian, this new set has got me all sorts of confused! On one hand, it's a set designed by an amazing Golden Ticket winner. Yay! It's creative, it's interesting, and it's awesome. Great! Now, here's the rub: IT UTTERLY TERRIFIES ME. Seriously, I refuse to go near it. It makes my fur stand on end all funny, and anything that messes with my gorgeous coat gets a strike in my book. It's just... It's hard to explain. Maybe you just ought to see for yourself!
