It's Friday at long last, my scientific sweets! We've been having a wonderfully productive week at the labs thanks to my new, patent pending, motivating methods! I've pioneered a few different ways to get my lab assistants and interns to really give everything their all, although the most effective method so far seems to be playing duckstep music very loudly over the speakers. Oh, they might complain about all the quacking and "wubwubs" but they sure do get their work done fast! Mostly because they want to get home and escape the racket. Still, it's effective and efficient, and any scientist worth his basalt would appreciate both those things! And with such amazing productivity comes equally astounding evolutions. Both Adamant Vault and Hardhearted evolved today, so let's take a look!

User ImageAdamant Vault: Already practically dripping with diamonds, you pull out three more gorgeous pieces. The famous starlet this jewelry once belonged to would no doubt have to attend a number of movie premieres and award shows; that must have been her clever excuse to add more and more diamonds to her collection. Studying the jewelry you've just discovered, you find that you now possess a scintillating diamond bertha, a pair of brilliant diamond shoe clips, and a huge flashing diamond gem.

User ImageHardhearted: After finishing your daily boring routine at home, you plop into bed and decide to pop in the strange CD you found earlier in the day. Settling back with your headphones on, you tentatively press the "play" button on your CD player. At first the hard beats and aggressive vocals were kind of intimidating -- you nearly turned the album off after only a few seconds -- but after a while it started to grow on you. After listening to a few tracks, you became completely hooked.

Fantastic! Maybe I ought to try playing Hardhearted over the loudspeaker instead of duckstep and see if that encourages my employees to work even harder? Hmm -- I smell a future experiment! Unfortunately that's all the time we have for this week, but be sure to tune in next Friday for your Evolving Item Report! Don't forget to vote in our Weekly EI Poll, and remember that you can see all these items and more in La Victoire! See you all next week!
