Gather around Gaians, let me tell you a tale of spooky fashion.
It was All Hallow’s Eve and I, Jet the Kitten Star, was finishing up a little bit of shop keeping. I called to Cygnus to get me a ladder so I could restock several different gorgeous outfits that were in popular demand. I heard him shuffle away while I decided I would restock lavish black first then perhaps toasty autumn orange. These decisions cannot be made lightly! Fortunately I have a well trained eye and a 6th sense when it comes to fashion. (That is why Cygnus leaves many important fashion decisions to me.) Finally my sensitive regal ears hear him scraping along with the desired ladder... but wait, then I heard a teeheehee giggling sound! Cygnus, that lout, does not giggle. I investigate the aisle, but no one is to be found. My fur was a bit unsettled, but I returned to the back of La Victoire to continue my important task.
Rather than wait for that slow Cygnus with the ladder I used my super agile Kitten Star acrobatics to jump up to the shelf I needed. Just as I was figuring out how to get down I saw the spooky surprise of my life! A little devil in the shop! Teeheehee he said and disappeared. This must be a trick I thought as I jumped down to give chase. I would have caught up to him too, but I ran smack into Kenji the Tomcat!
Turns out that some of the Paw friends around the neighborhood were trying on some new wares that just came in! They wouldn’t scare me on purpose would they? (As if I would be scared)
